Hand edge-rolled number plates for period correct restoration projects are one of my specialties. I have them available in varying sizes and shapes. I even make longer versions that double as a heat shield for the exhaust mounted plates on the XR750 Harley-Davidson. Click here to see images and more information below.
My real passion is Triumph flat track motorcycles and I have a collection of parts available for them including intake manifolds for 650 & 750 twins. Click here to see some pictures of these trumpets. I also carry Johnson Cams valve springs and Sparx ignition systems for these classic British machines.
In addition I also have oil tanks available as well as a flat track frame based on the 1965 stock Triumph frame. This was one of the best handling frames ever made and mine is less than half the weight of stock! I will get pictures of these posted very soon! Hand Edge-Rolled Aluminum Number Plates
These number plates are important if you are doing a period correct restoration of your old racer. All of my plates are made from sheet aluminum with a hand edge-rolled edge to give it the strength it needs so it doesn't twist or warp out of shape. There are varioius sizes and shapes available and I can do any custom shape or size you need, just give me a call for a price.
This is the oval MX style number plate. This plate is 9-3/8" (23.8 cm) tall by 11-1/4" (28.6 cm) wide. This particular version is polished to demonstrate what it can look like. You can polish your plates if you like with a little elbow grease (very little!) and some polishing compound. |

This is a detail of the hand-rolled edge that I do on each of my number plates. This rolled edge gives all the plates a rigidity required so that the plate doesn't twist and bend. |

Small XR750 Style Number Plate (Rear-Exhaust side)
This plate is designed to be used with XR750 style exhaust systems. This is a short plate that may also double as a small heat shield. |

XR750 Number Plate with Heat Shield - Version 1
This is a slightly longer plate for the XR750 style exhaust so that the front portion may act as a heat shield for the riders leg when it is up on the peg. As you can see by the image the top and bottom are curved to fit nicely around the exhaust pipe. |

XR750 Number Plate with Heat Shield - Version 2
Another style XR750 number plate that can double as a heat shield. This model curves only at the top, not on the bottom. If you have a taller exhaust system, this allows for that.

XR750 Number Plate with Heat Shield - Version 3
This is still a longer version of the XR750 plate shown above that can double as a heat shield. This model is 22" long and starts at 6 1/2" in front and expands to a full 10" at the rear. Like all my other number plates, it has a hand rolled bead around the entire edge. Call if you have questions or need a custom design of any kind!

Johnson Cams Modified CRF450 Rocker Arm
I make this modification based on research by Keith Johnson at Johnson Cams. These are CRF450 rocker arm units are modified with a precision welded chrome moly insert between the two arms. This modification eliminates the lateral flex in the rocker arm that comes with the use of stiffer springs and higher RPM's and helps stop valve stem flexing. Simple removal of the center lug on the cam tower is required to fit the modified rocker. I can do this for the model years 2002 through 2008. Once the piece is welded, the hole for the pin is gently honed until the pin fits correctly. |
